RESCIND BOIL WATER NOTIFICATION

The February 21, 2023 Boil Water Order has been lifted for the following areas:

600 thru 608 White Oak Lane
701 and 702 White Oak Lane
301 Thru 305 Evergreen Drive
401 Evergreen Drive
403 Evergreen Drive
 

Normal water usage may resume immediately. Service has been restored, and all waterquality test have been completed. The water is now safe to drink and use without boiling.

TCEQ Required Notice

On February 21, 2023 the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Cityof Harker Heights public water system, PWS ID #0140023, to issue a Boil Water Noticeto inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurredrecently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was requiredto be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the qualityof the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or humanconsumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicatethat the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of February 22, 2023.
