Subdivision Ordinance Changes

The City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission have held numerous meetings concerning revisions to the City’s’ subdivision ordinance. The City Council’s subcommittee and City staff have held two meetings with local builders and developers to gain their input into the proposed subdivision ordinance. As a result of these meetings the subdivision ordinance has gone through the following revision.

After reviewing the proposed ordinance and developer comments at the March 2nd Council Workshop, Council has directed staff to bring the ordinance forward at the March 9th at 5:00 pm regular meeting for adoption.

All comments submitted should have the following title "Subdivision Ordinance Comments." Submitters should also include their name, address, and contact number on their submission.

Citizens, Developers and Builders are welcome to attend any meetings and be heard on the issue. Please refer back to this page for any updates or contact the Planning & Development Administrative Assistant at 254.953.5647 to be added to a mailing list that has been created to update those interested in the process.
