Come grow with us!  Harker Heights is a vibrant community and an excellent location for your business!  The primary decision body for economic development in the City is the City Council.  This is accomplished with Chapter 380 Economic Development Agreements.  The Economic Development Advisory Committee supports the Council by researching any economic development item the Council so charges them to review.  The guiding document for economic development in the City is the 2025 Business Attraction Plan linked below.  This scope of work in the Plan is supported by the Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce and City Administration.
