The City of Harker Heights and the Harker Heights Veterans Council will host a Memorial Day Observance Ceremony on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 9:00 am.
Due to saturated ground conditions from recent rains and the uncertainty of Saturday's weather forecast, the Harker Heights Memorial Day Observance Ceremony location changed to the Harker Heights Activity Center/Library at 400 Indian Trail, across from Central Fire Station. The ceremony will feature a traditional wreath-laying in honor of the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. The Remembrance Walk has been cancelled.
