New Water Service

The following guidelines and list of requirements will aid in establishing utility service with the City. If additional information is needed or there are questions remaining, please contact the Finance Department at (254) 953-5630 or by email at [email protected] as well as visiting the Finance Department located in City Hall, 305 Miller’s Crossing.

Requirements for New Service

  • Valid Driver’s License or Government Issued ID
  • Current Lease
  • Completed Application for Water Service (Click here to download the application)
  • Residential Deposit - $65.00
  • Commercial Deposit - $200.00
If all of the required documents and deposits are not received, then your request for water services will not be processed.

Service Connection Guidelines 

  • Service connections are scheduled during normal business hours, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • For same day service, the required documentation and deposit will need to be submitted to the Water Department by 1:00 PM. Any request after the cutoff time will be processed for the next business day.
  • The account holder must be present for our technician to turn the water service on; with the exception that the water service is currently on.
  • Our after-hours service is available for connections after 5:00 PM for an additional fee of $30.00. The fee will be added to your utility bill. This service is available from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
